Delete Your Account

The quickest way to delete your account is inside the app:

1. Open Nuruni and go to your Profile.
2. Tap Account Settings.
3. Tap Delete Account and confirm.

Your account is deactivated straight away and your profile stops appearing to other members. Your personal data is then permanently removed as described below.

If you no longer have the app installed, email us from the address linked to your account:

• Send an email to privacy@nuruni.com.
• Use the subject line Delete my account.
• Include the email address or phone number you signed up with so we can verify your identity.

We will confirm your request and complete the deletion within 30 days.

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove the personal data you provided to us, including:

• Your name, profile details, and bio
• Your photos and profile pictures
• Your matches, likes, and conversations
• Your preferences and account settings

This data is removed from our active systems immediately and purged from backups within 30 days.

We retain a limited amount of information only where the law requires it or to keep the community safe. This matches our Privacy Policy:

• Verification records are kept for up to 7 years to comply with legal and safety obligations.
• Anonymised analytics that can no longer identify you may be retained for up to 2 years.
• Records we must hold to prevent fraud, resolve disputes, or meet a legal request.

None of this retained information is used to contact you or to rebuild your profile.
